Free Mushie allowance update
We introduced doubled Free allowances during our launch promotion and extended them several times. As Yumina has grown, the cost of providing that extra usage has grown too. We’re ending the doubled Free allowance so we can keep free play available sustainably.
Daily check-ins are staying. Paid membership benefits are unchanged. Your existing saved rewards and purchased Mushies will not receive a new expiry.
The updated Free allowances are:
- 1,000 Mushies per cycle. For new accounts, this is the starting allowance—not a separate signup bonus on top.
- 500 Mushies for a complete week of daily check-ins. Rewards progress through 50, 50, 62, 63, 75, 75 and 125.
- Up to 500 recovery Mushies per cycle. When eligible, recovery brings a low balance back toward 100, within that cycle’s remaining recovery allowance.
- 500 Bonus Mushies for eligible new-account referral welcomes. Existing earned rewards are protected; inviter milestones are unchanged in this update.
When this changes
For existing Free accounts, the new check-in rewards begin September 20, 2026 at 20:00 UTC. This is one global reset; your wallet displays the same instant in your local timezone. Your monthly allowance and recovery change together at your first personal cycle reset on or after that instant. Earlier resets keep the current terms for that cycle.
New Free accounts receive the new allowances from [launch date]. If a paid membership ends, Free allowances apply when the paid benefits end, not when renewal is cancelled. Free accounts with purchased packs follow Free earning rules; their purchased Mushies remain protected.
A clearer wallet
Your balance will have one bar with three labeled parts:
- Monthly: your cycle allowance and recovery, with your reset date.
- Bonus: newly earned Free check-in and eligible referral rewards, with their expiry dates.
- Saved: purchased Mushies and protected existing saved rewards, with no expiry.
New Bonus rewards stay available through the following month on our reward calendar. For example, September rewards expire October 31, 2026 at 20:00 UTC. The exact time appears in your local timezone before claiming and in your wallet. Later claims do not extend older rewards, and gifting new expiring credits preserves their expiry. We automatically use eligible credits expiring soonest, with Saved last.
Free models remain available for 0 Mushies, and you can continue to bring your own API key. Thank you for supporting Yumina and the worlds people create here.
Internal release notes — remove before publication:
- Local reference copy. The owner has confirmed publishing the announcement independently; the exact published text has not been retrieved here. Updating this file does not edit the published announcement. No reduction has been activated.
- Replace [launch date] only when the tested release is ready. Preserve at least seven days’ notice for existing users; discuss a new cutoff if the selected date cannot meet that notice.
- Personal cycle dates belong in each user’s wallet notice, not a single shared monthly reset date.
- The actual halved check-in schedule is 500/week, roughly 2,100–2,200 over 30 consecutive days. Do not promise 1,500/month or quote the earlier 3,000/month figure.
- New-account referral welcome policy is separate from any future referral qualification/milestone redesign. No three-turn rule is part of this announcement.
- Do not claim Yumina makes no margin on usage, that paid customers all lose money, or that these cuts alone deliver break-even.
