Empty conveyor slots in Dave's context
The compiled 3-10 opening reported Spikeweed, Threepeater and eight -1 slots. Native -1 means SEED_NONE. The host translated each blank into "unidentified plant", so an empty belt could appear to contain ten plants.
Dave's named plant list now includes only actual packets. The accompanying prompt snapshot represents empty slots as null, retaining packet positions and duplicates. The incoming snapshot remains unchanged for validation and effects. Unknown real identifiers still receive the existing fallback name. Ordinary seed banks, source choices, accounts, saves and native balance are unchanged. No new player-facing explanation or dialogue was added.
Three focused regressions cover the captured opening in English, Chinese and Spanish, a completely empty belt, repeated packets, a gap between packets, ordinary banks, unknown identifiers and request immutability. The first run fails two cases on the existing unidentified-plant output; all three pass after the fix. All 493 NPC tests pass through the isolated test launcher. This verifies the supplied model context, not every possible generated reply.
Separately, the unchanged released game completed an ordinary-input desktop 3-10 journey: all thirty waves, 93 placements, reward pickup and an earned level-31 profile at native tick 45,263, with no browser errors. It used the accepted 3× ordinary-wave budget and original conveyor supply. The browser account endpoints were isolated fixtures; no provider, cloud-save or account settings were modified. This does not establish physical-phone behavior or every later chapter's balance.
