Current house rules in PvZ 2-7
Dave and living plants now receive the current native houseRuined observation. The destroyed house suppresses normal home-entry defeat; ordinary vulnerable hostiles die at its boundary, while plants can still take damage. A standing house restores normal home-entry loss and does not imply restored mowers. Earlier dialogue cannot establish either current state or a remaining timer.
The optional boolean is restricted to an active 2-7 lawn. The game forwards it only when the host advertises source27-house-v1 and the native chapter and epoch match. Older clients omit it, older hosts do not receive it, and its absence means unknown. It grants no action, currency, repair or victory and does not change saves, timing, waves or the original plot.
Focused regressions failed before the implementation and now pass, including actual plant prompt assembly, invalid data, wrong chapters and defeated lawns. Hosted build and typecheck pass. The broader NPC run passed 512 checks; the memory-store worker exited abnormally on Windows before its tests completed. Its isolated rerun passes all four tests. No assertion failure was hidden. Logs are in output/house-observation-*.log.
The game worktree separately verifies native standing/destruction/repair, save/reload, host capability gating and compiled browser projection. Those checks establish observations, not live-provider writing quality or a natural 2-7 victory. A separate ordinary-control run reached wave 11 before the test browser closed; its checkpoint and failure are retained.
